The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intermediate Hydrogeologist to join our team at Trace Associates Inc. As a key member of our hydrogeology team, you will be responsible for conducting field programs, managing projects, and providing technical expertise to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement hydrogeology field programs, including monitoring and sampling, well drilling, and aquifer testing.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and work scopes to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Assess and interpret hydrogeology data, including potentiometric and water quality data.
  • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and other documentation to support project delivery.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior professionals and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with provincial regulations, legislation, and policies related to hydrogeology.

About You and Your Qualifications

  • Hold an undergraduate degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental engineering, or a related field.
  • Be eligible for provincial registration as a Professional Geoscientist or Engineer.
  • Have 5-10 years of experience in hydrogeology, including experience in safely leading environmental drilling programs.
  • Be able to safely operate vehicles and have a valid class 5 driver's license.
