Job Title: Enterprise Integration Specialist

Telesat, a leading global satellite operator, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Integration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Applications Department, you will design, develop, and implement software solutions to connect various enterprise business systems within Telesat, ensuring secure seamless data flow and communication.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business requirements to identify integration opportunities.
  • Participate in and/or lead the planning of integration projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions within the organization's architectural principles, policies, and guidelines.
  • Research and recommend integration products and services to support business needs.
  • Test and troubleshoot integrations to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Implement audit, logging, and monitoring solutions for integration systems.
  • Provide guidance and support to other Applications Department members.
  • Identify and resolve system integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level application integration.
  • Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems.
  • In-depth experience with API protocols and securing integrations.
  • Direct, hands-on experience with automated integration tools.
  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and data mapping.
  • Knowledge of relational database design and management techniques.
  • Proven technical project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
