Job Summary

We are seeking a Recreation Therapy Assistant to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health. As a Recreation Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the rehabilitation process of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and support.
  • Help physical therapists with patient rehabilitation programs.
  • Set up and dismantle equipment, clean and maintain it, and operate sterilization equipment according to standardized safety practices.
  • Maintain supplies and inventory of equipment.
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress.
  • Organize and maintain inventory.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience an asset.
