Job Title: Recreation Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a Recreation Therapy Assistant to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health. As a Recreation Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of recreation therapy services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare professionals in the delivery of recreation therapy services
  • Help physical therapists with patient care and rehabilitation
  • Set up and dismantle equipment, clean and maintain it, and operate sterilization equipment
  • Maintain supplies and inventory of equipment
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Experience an asset
