Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Toronto, Canada. As a key member of our quality assurance group, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining quality engineering methodologies, systems, and practices that meet the requirements of Boston Scientific, customers, and regulatory bodies.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support and execute processes and quality deliverables associated with projects and quality systems.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering or a science-related field and a minimum of 3+ years of risk management/manufacturing/operations experience. You must be able to communicate effectively, analyzing, summarizing, and presenting ideas concisely via visual communication methods.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be proactive, and demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and product quality. Medical device industry experience and hands-on technical/mechanical experience and aptitude are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, establish, and maintain quality engineering methodologies, systems, and practices that meet BSC, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Work in cross-functional teams to support and execute processes and quality deliverables associated with projects and quality systems.
- Apply sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues.
- Assure the development and execution of streamlined business systems that effectively identify and resolve quality issues.
- Proactively investigate, identify, and implement best-in-class quality practices.
Boston Scientific offers a competitive salary of $95,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
