About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at EXP, specializing in infrastructure and municipal projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering successful projects from planning to completion, ensuring client satisfaction, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of land development and municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project scope, budget, and schedule, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, promoting a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Obtain necessary approvals and permits from municipalities, provincial, and federal government agencies.
  • Ensure quality control and design standards are maintained throughout the project.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to meet project objectives.
  • Facilitate collaboration between internal disciplines and promote a culture of work sharing.
  • Meet internal business metrics and targets, as well as engage in ongoing business development activities with existing and new clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario.
  • Proven track record of developing relationships, writing, and reviewing competitive proposals.
  • Experience working with clients in both public and private sectors.
  • Leadership experience and people management skills, including staff development and team management.
  • Strategic, analytical, and practical thinking skills.
  • Ability to analyze challenges and determine priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid client development and management skills.
  • Knowledge of Civil 3D.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
