Strategic Commercial Banking Director

CWB, a bank built for business owners, is seeking an experienced professional to lead strategic business development objectives and build high-value portfolios of large commercial clients.

The Opportunity: As a Sr. Manager, Business Development, you will lead all aspects of risk-reward parameters within acceptable levels towards achieving optimal business performance. You will work closely with product partners to develop products that tap market opportunities and deliver full-service banking and financial solutions through effective partnerships.
Areas of Focus:
- Sales Activation & Business Growth: Create, implement, and effect independent marketing plans to achieve sales targets, undertake independent sales activities to achieve loan, deposit, and cash management sales revenue, volume, and new customer objectives.
- Client Experience: Deliver outstanding client experiences at every interaction in line with CWB's brand promise, providing full-service solutions for clients as their primary financial partner.
- Credit Risk Management: Apply risk assessment skills to ensure appropriate measures are put in place, balancing risk and reward within CWB's risk appetite.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, or accounting fields with 6+ years' experience in commercial lending or related experience.
- Proven experience developing and implementing successful sales strategies and actions in collaboration with partners.
- Subject matter expert in the continuous improvement of sales processes and programs.
- A strong foundation in business modeling and computer expertise is highly beneficial.
