We are seeking a skilled Bread Baker to join our team at COBS Bread West Hills Centre. As a Bread Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread products, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare dough for various bread products according to recipes or special customer orders
- Bake mixed dough and batters to produce high-quality bread products
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Administer first aid in emergency situations
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads
