Therapeutic Specialist, Women's Health

About the Role:
As a Therapeutic Specialist, Women's Health at Astellas Pharma Inc., you will play a crucial role in promoting our women's health products to healthcare professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with obstetricians and gynecologists, primary care physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, and pharmacists.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth and market penetration.
- Utilize business acumen to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Conduct comprehensive customer profiling to identify key influencers and decision-makers.
- Foster collaboration with internal stakeholders to support product launch activity.
- Successfully leverage omnichannel to engage with healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate recent launch experience by successfully introducing new products to the market.
- Navigate and succeed in a complex reimbursement environment.
- Identify unmet educational needs of healthcare professionals and deliver non-promotional learning programs.
- Exhibit leadership, accountability, and internal motivation to achieve and surpass individual and team sales targets.
Requirements:
- University degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in sales experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and effectively communicate scientific information.
- Established business acumen and budget management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management databases (Veeva).
- Must be willing to travel approximately 30%.
