Hotel Arts is a renowned hospitality group seeking an experienced Culinary Specialist to join our Banquet team.

About the Role

This key position involves working closely with our Banquet Sous Chef to deliver exceptional culinary service during high-profile events and banquets. As a member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all menu items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain food quality and presentation standards in line with our consistency-based framework.
  2. Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless execution of banquet services.
  3. Ensure accurate and efficient preparation of menu items to meet customer requirements.
  4. Manage mise en place to maintain a timely and efficient workflow.
  5. Implement proper food storage and handling techniques to maintain cleanliness and prevent waste.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  1. 2-3+ years of experience in a similar position or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through formal training.
  2. Journeyman or working towards Red Seal certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  3. Culinary education can be an asset but is not required.
  4. Flexibility in your work schedule and availability.

A competitive salary range of $50,000-$70,000 per annum reflects the level of expertise and responsibility associated with this position.
