Job Description

Live Assets, a leading IT agency, is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual IT Network Support Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide post-implementation support and ongoing resolution related to the switch remediation project, acting as a Tier 3 support to Tier 1 and 2 Helpdesk staff.
  • Act as an escalation point for Tier 1 and 2 staff.
  • Update job aids and standard operating procedures for Helpdesk staff.
  • Learn and support company standard practice management clinic software at an advanced level.
  • Set up and configure new systems and IT network equipment (e.g. APs, network switches).
  • Provide support to end users to troubleshoot connectivity.
  • Work alongside the Server Cloud & Network engineers to understand what they are implementing and document their method of procedures.
  • Provide Early Life Support (ELS) after project-specific implementations.
  • Perform changes in Cisco Meraki firewalls, Ubiquiti switches and access points, IoT devices, and veterinary-specific equipment.
  • Utilize Microsoft 365 for project communications and file management.
  • Provide ongoing network support and troubleshooting residual IT issues.

Necessary Skills:

  • Must be Fluent in English and French.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and MS Office 365, Active Directory, Azure, and Intune.
  • Solid understanding of network topologies and protocols.
  • Layer-2 and Layer-3 experience for networking technologies (i.e. VLAN, STP, Wi-Fi, 802.1x).
  • Understanding of remote management tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge and administration of the Microsoft Windows Server platform.
  • Knowledge of Zendesk or related ticketing systems.
  • Experience in customer service, technical support, and IT field support.
  • Ability to work with a variety of internal stakeholders and different divisions.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist, or Microsoft Certified Azure Network Engineer Associate are desired.
