Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Building Operations Manager to join our team at the Ontario Municipal Social Services Association. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our municipal buildings, including maintenance, repairs, and capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise maintenance technicians and building custodians
  • Oversee the completion of maintenance tasks and repairs
  • Liaise with contractors and vendors as required
  • Develop and implement plans to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Monitor and report on building condition and recommend necessary repairs or replacements

Requirements:

- Journeyperson certification in carpentry, plumbing, electrical or gas technician license
- Experience in a supervisory or management role would be an asset

Competitive Compensation:
- $43.95 to $51.42 per hour; as per the 2024 non-union wage grid
