SUMMARY

The Live In Building Manager oversees the daily operations at the new building. This includes leasing, general maintenance and repairs, administration, and resident relations. The Live In Building Manager leads a team of one full-time Assistant Building Manager. The Building Manager is also supported by our dedicated and experienced in-house maintenance and landscaping teams. The Building Manager is required to be on call within the rotation at this location.

DUTIES

  • Lead, manage, and hold onsite team accountable
  • Answer emails and phone calls of prospective residents providing information and scheduling virtual and in-person showings
  • Show apartments and assist with lease applications
  • Attend to resident concerns and communicate with residents via phone, email and in person
  • Complete minor in suite repairs and general maintenance
  • Work collaboratively with the residential maintenance team with respect to major repairs and unit turnovers
  • Enter work orders in software and monitor progress
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas and units
  • Assist with move-ins and move-outs
  • Perform and document regular checks and logs regarding the condition of the building, its system, grounds, and security

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-5 years of experience in residential building management/leasing
  • Experience with general residential maintenance and minor repairs
  • Proficient with computer (MS Office) and smartphone, experience with Yardi an asset
  • Proficient spoken and written English
  • Must successfully pass a police background check
  • Courteous manners with the public andexcellent customer service
  • Punctual and reliable
