Payroll Administrator

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Payroll Clerk to join our team at Zenith Training Center. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, preparing statements of earnings for employees, and maintaining payroll records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Prepare statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments and insurance and pension plans
- Store, update and retrieve financial data
- Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing systems
- Prepare monthly statements
- Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans
- Maintain payroll
- Maintain records of employee attendance, leave and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements, using manual or computerized systems
Requirements:
- Experience an asset
- Availability for shift or on-call work
- Legal ability to work in Canada
- Willingness to relocate for this position
Work Environment:
- 32 to 40 hours per week
- Permanent work term
- Work language: English
