Job Title: Kitchen Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team at Lone Star Texas Grill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of our award-winning menu items, including sizzling fajitas, classic Tex-Mex dishes, and AAA steaks.
- Lead the culinary team to maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including prep cooks and line cooks, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and efficient.
- Develop and implement menu plans and promotions to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other members of the management team to achieve business objectives and improve overall restaurant performance.
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
