Job Title: Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at We Care Rehab Clinic.

Job Summary:

The Physiotherapy Assistant will work closely with our physiotherapists and occupational therapists to provide high-quality patient care and support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for rehabilitation.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physiotherapists and occupational therapists with patient assessments, treatments, and rehabilitation programs.
  • Administer tests and equipment, instruct patients on test procedures, and record results.
  • Monitor, check, and calibrate auditory equipment.
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and provide feedback to healthcare professionals.
  • Confer with other health professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment, supplies, and patient records.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with patients.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Repetitive tasks and attention to detail.
  • Punctuality, client focus, accuracy, dependability, and reliability.
