Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant/ Kinesiologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Lifemark. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the maintenance of a clean and organized treatment area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physiotherapists with client care, including the use of ultrasound equipment, exercise programs, and other treatment modalities.
- Perform administrative duties as required, such as maintaining accurate records and communicating with clients and colleagues.
- Work collaboratively with clients to set and achieve functional goals, promoting independence and empowerment.
- Collect and analyze outcome measure data to inform treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain and clean/sterilize medical equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for clients.
- Conduct inventory of clinical supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
Requirements:
- Patient-focused and compassionate, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience working in a clinic setting, preferably in a physiotherapy or healthcare environment.
- PTA diploma or Kinesiology degree, or equivalent qualifications.
