Gas Station Operations Manager

Job Title: Gas Station Operations Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gas Station Operations Manager to join our team at Gateway of Niagara Convenience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our gas station, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage staff and assign duties to ensure efficient operation of the gas station
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and sales volumes
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, including fuel, food, and other convenience items
- Implement price and credits policies to maximize sales and revenue
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure profitability
- Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff as needed
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or gas station environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
Work Environment:
- Convenience store

Supervision: 3-4 people
