Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team in a part-time capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Medical 3B unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver patient care.
- Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Contribute to the development of corrective actions to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards related to occupational health and safety.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of competency in Ontario.
- Current certification in venipuncture (I.V. certification).
Requirements:
- Demonstrated positive interpersonal and communication skills.
- Competency in the management and care of acute medical patients.
- Ability to work effectively with nursing staff and non-regulated healthcare workers.
- Proficiency in computer use, including Microsoft and hospital applications.
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment required for patient care.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships and interact with people in a professional manner.
