Job Title: Medical Orderly

Join Chartwell L'Envol as a Medical Orderly and contribute to the well-being of our residents. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential care and support to our patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.

Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Meal Service: Serve meal trays and feed patients, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of supplies, ensuring our residents receive the care they need.
  • First Aid and Emergency Response: Administer first aid in emergency situations and respond to call signals to determine patients' needs.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certifications: Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training and CPR Certificate.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and physical stamina to perform tasks.
