Job Title: Medical Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Medical Care Assistant to join our team at Domaine du Cap. As a Medical Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients.

Job Summary:

The Medical Care Assistant will be responsible for providing personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, such as serving meal trays and feeding patients, as well as maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as serving meal trays and feeding patients
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
  • Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs
Requirements:
  • Acute care nursing Certificate
  • Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training
  • Continuing Care Assistant Certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Nursing Aide Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
Working Conditions:

The Medical Care Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care and support to patients in a public or community health centre. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
