Job Title: Medical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Domaine du Cap. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to patient care and comfort, including taking vital signs, serving meal trays, and maintaining patient rooms. You will also be required to administer first aid in emergency situations and transport patients as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
  • Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Serve meal trays and feed patients
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients
  • Maintain inventory of supplies
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
  • Serve food and beverages
  • Administer bedside and personal care
Requirements
  • Acute care nursing Certificate
  • Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training
  • Continuing Care Assistant Certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Nursing Aide Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs). You will also be required to stand for extended periods and be able to perform repetitive tasks.
