Our team is dedicated to delivering a variety of recreation and fitness programs, offering family support, organizing charity events, and providing retail, travel, and banking discounts, as well as customized financial services.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Recreation and Gym Services Assistant to join our team at Personnel Support Programs. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces by providing fitness, sports, recreation, and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.

Under the supervision of the Front Desk Gym Supervisor, you will provide counter service, answer customer inquiries, sell memberships, type correspondence, file, and clear military personnel in and out. You will maintain cash floats and daily sales records, and use a data management program to book facilities and programs.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A High School Diploma and several years of experience in a related field
  • Current Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications
  • A valid driver's license (Ontario)
  • Experience in cash handling and office administration
  • Competencies in client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English is the primary language required for this role.
