The HR Director will be responsible for leading a small team of HR professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective HR service delivery. This includes collaborating with the VP of HR to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that align with the company's business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of HR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to the team, ensuring efficient and effective HR service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee experience, and DE&I.
- Serve as the organization's expert in compensation, providing guidance on compensation structures, salary reviews, and incentive programs.
- Ensure that compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company's overall HR strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles, with a strong focus on compensation, program management, employee relations, and talent acquisition.
- Proven experience in leading and developing HR teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic HR initiatives and drive organizational change.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations across multiple provinces.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and influence at all levels of the organization.
