Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Metal Fitter Supervisor to join our team at SAT Metal Fabrication Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the company, ensuring health and safety regulations are followed, and supervising workers and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Train or arrange for training of employees
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on the work site
  • Oversee the operation of the company, including supervising workers and projects
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • 5-10 years of experience in metal fabrication and fitting
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and management
Work Environment

The work site environment is noisy, and the work setting includes assembly, construction, fabrication, installation, and shopwork. The work conditions and physical capabilities require attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Language

The language of work is English, and the hours of work are 30 to 40 hours per week.
