About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Financial Counsellor to join our team at VentureTech Solutions. As a Financial Counsellor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals develop effective strategies for managing their finances and eliminating unsecured debt.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough financial assessments to determine clients' financial positions, goals, and debt obligations.
- Develop personalized financial plans to help clients reduce high-interest debt and achieve financial stability.
- Provide expert guidance on budgeting, credit management, and debt consolidation.
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique financial challenges and goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in financial counselling.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in debt consolidation, credit, or collections is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong analytical skills to assess clients' financial situations and develop tailored solutions.
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and goals.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to continuously improve and expand knowledge in financial counselling.
- Bilingual in English and French (or Spanish) is an asset.
