Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Vice-President to join our team at Helias Enterprises Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our human resources function, providing strategic guidance and direction to ensure the effective management of our workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement human resources strategies and policies to support the achievement of business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to senior management on human resources matters, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Lead the development and implementation of training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure the attraction and retention of top talent.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Monitor and analyze human resources metrics to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position, working 30-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a business services environment, with a focus on hotel, motel, and resort operations.

Language and Work Term

The primary language of work is English, and the successful candidate must be legally able to work in Canada.
