About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Pharmasave. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels of medications and pharmaceutical products.
    • Reorder supplies and equipment as needed to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Prescription Processing
    • Process and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
    • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and medication inventory.
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support to pharmacists, including answering phones, responding to emails, and completing paperwork.
    • Assist with scheduling appointments and confirming client appointments.
  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Maintain and clean equipment, including autoclaves, scales, and other pharmacy equipment.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with pharmacists, technicians, and other support staff to ensure seamless operation of the pharmacy.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
