Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced LPN to fill the role of Team Lead - Health Care Aides. As a member of the Seniors Health Management Team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and evaluating the work of Health Care Aides in the Home Care environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor Health Care Aides to ensure they are providing high-quality care to clients
  • Recruit, select, and train new staff members
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with external partners to resolve concerns and promote strong working relationships
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed
  • Coordinate scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage and meet client needs
Requirements
  • Current LPN registration with the College of Nurses of Alberta
  • Experience in a leadership role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and organize work effectively
  • Knowledge of nursing standards and practice
