Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Part-Time Professor to teach C++ programming at the University of Ottawa. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of the course subject matter and be able to deliver high-quality instruction to students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach C++ programming courses to undergraduate students
  • Develop and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and exams
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development

Requirements

  • Doctorate in a field related to computer science or a relevant work experience
  • Excellent knowledge of C++ programming and related topics
  • Proven teaching experience and ability to communicate complex concepts to students
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work on campus, teaching C++ programming courses to undergraduate students. The teaching method will be delivered in person.
