Job Title: Part-Time Professor of Wireless Communications

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified Part-Time Professor to teach a course on Wireless Communications at the University of Ottawa. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of the subject matter and be able to deliver lectures and tutorials to students.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach a course on Wireless Communications to undergraduate students
  • Deliver lectures and tutorials on cellular system principles, wireless propagation channel, digital modulation techniques, and multiple access methods
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback
  • Develop and maintain course materials and resources

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Excellent knowledge of Wireless Communications and related topics
  • Proven teaching experience at the university level
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work on a part-time basis, teaching a course on Wireless Communications. The course will be delivered in person, and the professor will be required to attend tutorials at least one hour per week.

How to Apply:

Applicants must submit their application, including their P.Eng. License number and province of registration, to the University of Ottawa. The contract for this course will include a payment for 52 hours, as it is required that the part-time professor teaching this course attends tutorials at least one hour per week.
