Job Description

Job Title: Finance Professor - Part-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Finance Professor to teach part-time at the University of Ottawa. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and economics, with a PhD or Master's degree in the field. The ideal candidate will have teaching experience in advanced finance or microeconomics courses, preferably in financial theory or financial economics.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach part-time in the finance department at the University of Ottawa
  • Develop and deliver course materials for finance and economics courses
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development

Requirements:

  • PhD or Master's degree in finance or economics
  • Teaching experience in advanced finance or microeconomics courses
  • Strong background in financial theory and financial economics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work on a part-time basis, teaching courses in the finance department at the University of Ottawa. The position is subject to the availability of courses and the needs of the department.
