About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Executive Director to spearhead the launch of our new culinary venture, Balam, as part of EightSix Network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the restaurant's strategic vision, aligning with EightSix Network's goals and values.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service, ensuring the highest standards of excellence.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse team of culinary and front-of-house staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous growth.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability through effective resource allocation and revenue generation strategies.
- Customer Experience: Champion a guest-centric approach, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience that exceeds their expectations.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Community Engagement: Act as a brand ambassador for Balam and EightSix Network, engaging with the local community and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate performance metrics, solicit feedback, and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role in the food and beverage industry
- Proven track record of success in restaurant operations and management
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and point-of-sale systems
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
