Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller Assistant Specialist to join our team at Fed Finance.

This is a permanent position located in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec, in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of computerized internal financial statements, including accounting entries, account reconciliation, and monitoring expenses and income.
  • Provide technical support to internal customers on cost analyses, comparative analyses, and report production.
  • Collaborate in the end-of-year closing process and support annual audit activities.
  • Participate in the budget process and perform other related tasks.
Requirements:
  • Certificate in administration - accounting option or DEC in accounting, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience in accounting cycle management, budgetary management, and management accounting.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite software, particularly Excel and databases.
  • Mastery of French and English, both oral and written.
  • Innate sense of responsibility, commitment, and professionalism.
  • Autonomy and good judgment.
  • Rigor and thoroughness.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
