About the Role

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our accelerated leadership development program, designed to attract and develop leaders from related industries and introduce them to our company and business model.

This rotational development program is a formal leadership development program for highly motivated individuals, providing participants with experience in a variety of rotations within National Cable Specialists, including Operations, Sales, Purchasing, Finance, and Branch Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in rotational assignments, receiving mentoring from our VP/General Manager and other high-performing leaders to learn our business through all critical pathways of business operations.
  • Involved in day-to-day operations and utilized as a member of each assigned work team.
  • Prepare a department improvement project focusing on a process or method improvement during each rotation.

Requirements

  • A degree/diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • Required 3-5 years' prior experience as a supervisor or manager in a similar or related business or transferrable experience from other similar business models.
  • Willingness to relocate to any of our locations.
  • Leadership aptitude.
  • Supervisory experience is an asset.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of adapting to new situations and new learning opportunities.
  • Works well in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • High level of competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly master industry-specific software systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills.
  • Good lateral thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business ethics with a professional approach at all times.
  • Physically able to meet the demands of the position.
  • Demonstrated safety leadership mindset and ability to comply with the company's Health and Safety requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and passport.
  • Available for some travel required to attend training courses or meetings.
