Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN-RPN Addiction Services professional to join our team at Providence Health Care. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and residents with addiction-related needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and identify patient/resident problems and needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to address their physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs.
- Provide direct nursing interventions for crisis and life-threatening situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and residents.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient/resident care policies, procedures, and education materials.
- Participate in nursing research and quality improvement activities to enhance nursing practice and patient care outcomes.
- Advocate for patients/residents' rights to dignity, respect, privacy, confidentiality, autonomy, and access to information.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with demonstrated knowledge and ability to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) procedures.
- Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team, with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
