Extrusion Operations Director

We are seeking an accomplished Production Manager to drive operational efficiency, enhance product quality, and maximize output in our cutting-edge extrusion facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading production operations from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production workflows, leveraging expertise in processes and equipment to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Analyze and refine production processes to minimize waste and enhance overall performance.
- Mentor and empower the production team to excel, fostering a culture of passion, knowledge, and integrity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to meet and exceed expectations, driving results-oriented initiatives.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 years' experience in aluminium extrusion, with a strong background in process management and equipment operation.
- Demonstrated track record of implementing process improvements and achieving tangible results in manufacturing environments.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and motivation skills, with a proven ability to inspire and empower teams.
- In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools, with experience in applying these concepts to drive operational excellence.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability practices relevant to the manufacturing industry.
Location: Vancouver
