We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced baker to join our team as a Senior Baker and Team Lead. As a key member of our bakery operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality products and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Product Preparation: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Team Leadership: Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, train staff, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Special Orders: Prepare special orders, including wedding and specialty cakes, and cake decorating.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
