Insurance Litigation Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Litigation Lawyer to join our team at TOTEM RECRUITER. As a key member of our insurance litigation team, you will provide legal analysis and advice in litigation, focusing on specialty lines of insurance, professional negligence claims, construction professional litigation, and other sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal analysis and advice in litigation, focusing on specialty lines of insurance, professional negligence claims, construction professional litigation, and other sectors.
  • Analyze legal and factual issues and advise clients.
  • Attend examinations for discovery.
  • Work with partners and junior lawyers to advance files.
  • Prepare correspondence to lawyers and clients.
  • Mentor junior lawyers and maintain relations with insurers and insureds.
  • Review documents in preparation for litigation and submit filings to the court.
  • Appear in court to argue motions, attend pre-trials, and mediations.
Requirements:
  • JD Common law Program.
  • Member of the Ontario Bar or any other Canadian Bar.
  • Minimum 6 years experience in insurance and litigation.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
