About the Role

Maintain the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program at LCBO to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and industry best practices. This involves updating methodologies, policies, guidelines, templates, and the ERM Framework document, including risk definitions, metrics, and risk appetite.

  1. Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive ERM strategy.
  2. Maintain the mandate for the Risk Management Oversight Committee.
  3. Oversee the updating of entity-level risk reporting.
  4. Develop and implement new risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring processes within LCBO.
  5. Implement Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to measure risk exposure.
  6. Design and maintain an ERM application or process to securely host/store all risk work performed.
  7. Perform external risk scanning quarterly and provide insights to the Risk Management Oversight Committee.
  8. Ensure direct reports have the necessary skills and resources to meet annual commitments.
  9. Prepare the annual budget for review with the VP.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Relevant professional designations considered an asset (e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP)).
  • At least 10 years of experience in ERM, including implementation of all levels of an ERM program.
  • Knowledge of ERM governance, frameworks, and fundamentals, including COSO and ISO.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with risk management systems.
