About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to drive business performance by providing high-quality financial analysis and insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all business decisions are supported by robust financial analysis
  • Understanding key financial and operational performance drivers
  • Developing and refining efficiency metrics, dashboards, and financial/non-financial KPIs
  • Preparing financial performance reporting for leadership reviews
  • Evaluating financial performance and identifying trends
  • Playing a key role in the execution of annual plans and quarterly forecasts
Relationship Management

The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A will work closely with the FP&A team and outside business partners to stay ahead of potential headwinds and tailwinds. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing insights into the future and influencing senior management
  • Building strong relationships with the FP&A team and beyond
  • Strengthening relationships across boundaries
Strategic Management

The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A will ensure accurate financial assumptions in corporate and business unit strategic planning processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Participating in the development of planning models
  • Providing a consistent approach to measuring performance against strategy
  • Bringing a digital-first and customer-centric mentality
Performance Measurement and Management Control

The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A will understand key financial and operational drivers of performance and help integrate them consistently in business management reporting processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Tracking and analyzing predictive and useful information
  • Coordinating the communication of performance towards goals and strategies
  • Establishing and driving forward-looking planning/budgeting processes
Governance/Stewardship role

The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A will coordinate the deployment of financial controls across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Aligning finance processes and priorities with those of the business
  • Adapting finance processes to meet the business's changing needs
  • Playing an upfront and early role in product decision-making processes
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A with:

  • CA/CPA, CMA, CGA or equivalent
  • 5+ years post-qualification financial management experience
  • Strong influencing skills and leadership abilities
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a structured framework
  • Proven track record of embracing and leading change
Salary

The salary for this role is $90,000 to $93,000 per year.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
