Key Responsibilities- Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure that construction projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Prepare and Install Building Components: Prepare and install building components, such as foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roof systems, using measuring tools and equipment.
- Supervise and Train Apprentices: Supervise and train apprentices in the construction trades, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
- Ensure Quality and Safety Standards: Ensure that all construction work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards, and that all necessary safety protocols are followed.
- Education and Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction trades, and a certificate or diploma in carpentry or a related field.
- Language and Communication Skills: Fluency in English, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
