Job Summary:

The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to employers, employees, and the general public. This includes inspecting workplaces for safety or health hazards, investigating workplace accidents or illnesses, and developing and implementing health and safety plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide information and training to employers, employees, and the general public on health and safety matters.
  • Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Investigate workplace accidents or illnesses and provide recommendations for prevention.
  • Develop and implement health and safety plans to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in safety audits and programs to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Plan and implement safety programs to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
