Environmental Safety Specialist

At RMG Consulting Group Inc., we are seeking a skilled Environmental Safety Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for providing information and training to employers, employees, and the general public on environmental safety and health regulations. You will also inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards, investigate workplace accidents or illnesses, and develop and implement health and safety plans. Additionally, you will ensure that health and safety regulations are followed and participate in safety audits and programs. If you have a strong background in environmental safety and health, excellent communication skills, and a client-focused approach, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide information and training on environmental safety and health regulations
  • Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards
  • Investigate workplace accidents or illnesses
  • Develop and implement health and safety plans
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Participate in safety audits and programs

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Judgement
