About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at Samco Flooring Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality flooring installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Installation Preparation
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
    • Determine layout and installation procedures to ensure efficient and effective installation.
  • Installation and Finishing
    • Measure and mark guidelines for installations to ensure accurate placement.
    • Prepare floors for installations, including cleaning and preparing surfaces.
    • Apply wax and polish to floors to achieve a high-gloss finish.
  • Quality Control and Safety
    • Conduct quality control checks to ensure installations meet our high standards.
    • Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment
    • 35 hours per week.
