Job Description for Flooring Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at Detail Flooring. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive high-quality flooring solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate and precise measurements.
  • Material Installation: Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding, as well as install carpeting and resilient floor coverings.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials, and plan installation schedules to meet customer needs.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the flooring industry.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
