About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Manager to join our team at Parsons Corporation. This role will support the BIM Manager and Project Delivery Teams in maintaining the Common Data Environment (CDE) and supervising all CAD efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the setup, development, and configuration of the CDE according to ISO 19650 standards.
  • Assume the role of CDE administrator and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Define discipline design organization and participation in projects, including execution of discipline work involving design approach, schedules, standards, budgets, and procedures.
  • Provide management and supervision for CAD team members, including performance evaluations, ongoing support, and communications.
  • Develop and maintain Modeling/Production templates.
  • Makes staffing assignments and monitors productivity and technical proficiency of assigned personnel.
  • Reviews work produced to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed and quality is acceptable.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A technical degree or certificate of completion in CAD design from an accredited institution.
  • 12 years of experience in supervisory roles within a similar industry.
  • Experience working on Rail & Transit projects and familiarity with ISO 19650.
  • Proficiency in a range of BIM authoring, scripting, design review, coordination, simulations, and collaboration applications and/or platforms.
