Job Summary:

Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly skilled CAD Manager to join our team. As a CAD Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the BIM Manager and Project Delivery Teams in day-to-day BIM implementation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the setup, development, and configuration of the Common Data Environment (CDE) according to ISO 19650 standards.
  • Assume the role of CDE administrator and ensure the highest quality for all BIM package submissions.
  • Develop and maintain Modeling/Production templates and Quality Assurance and Control templates.
  • Perform Quality Assurance and Control checks on models and maintain trackers to confirm geometrical and non-geometrical information compliance.
  • Provide training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Advises engineering and project management regarding problem areas, staffing requirements, progress slippage, scope changes, budget overruns, or other events that could negatively affect project completion or profitability.
  • Actively participates in the company Quality Improvement Process (QIP).

Requirements:

  • Technical degree or certificate of completion in CAD design from an accredited technical institution (or equivalent).
  • 12 years experience in supervisory roles within a similar industry.
  • Experience either from a Consultant or Contractor Environment on Rail & Transit projects.
  • Experience with ISO 19650.
  • Proficient in a range of BIM authoring, scripting, design review, coordination, simulations, and collaboration applications and/or platforms.

  • Construction planning, animated programme (4D) and progress reporting.
  • As-built model delivery.
  • Asset Information Model Delivery, COBie, O&M and asset tagging.
