Director of Technology Development and Delivery

CIBC is seeking a seasoned technology leader to join our Capital Markets Technology division as Director, Technology Development and Delivery. This role is responsible for the overall software development and delivery of our portfolio, ensuring business requirements translate into scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert technical leadership on application design and architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategies and standards.
- Oversee project deliverables, ensuring optimal quality and timely delivery.
- Lead development team delivery improvements, including agile ceremonies and development delivery KPIs.
- Partner with Capital Markets front office to contribute to overall business strategies and identify opportunities to leverage technology.
- Liaise with third-party vendors to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and approvals.
- Strong leadership and technical expertise in application development and end-to-end solution delivery.
- Expertise in agile and waterfall delivery frameworks, with a focus on DevOps and SDLC.
- Ability to understand and verify technical designs, with a focus on system integration and networking.
