Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Personal Support Worker to join our team at Ontario Limited. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our patients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide nursing care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing wound care.
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities and provide support with exercise routines.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including making beds and maintaining patient rooms.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines and provide guidance on healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations and maintain a first aid kit.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with 32 hours of work per week. The work environment is physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
